Objective

Lighthouse provides educational, recreational and social support services that enhance skills, values and self-esteem among youth.

Areas of Service

The Lighthouse Program is an evening drop-in program provided at four Locations in Kent and Covington. Each site is fully staffed with professionals in education, mental health and an officer from the local Police Department.

Activities

Education: Homework assistance is available to all Lighthouse members daily at all sites. Our goal is to aid the development of youth and help them become proficient in basic educational disciplines.

Counseling: Mental health professionals are available to implement programs and activities that address issues that affect our youth.

Sports-Fitness-Recreation

Through teamwork and cooperation members have a healthy and active lifestyle. Basketball, softball, breakdancing, and volleyball are some of the activities to keep members busy.
